This privacy policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit hallawilliams.net (the Site).

See below for information about cookies but please do not enter data on the site that you are not willing to have stored (data is accessed on a password-protected PC and in the Wix system). Personal information collected from you

When you log in or contact me, I will collect your name, email address and any information you supply in relation to your enquiry. I will store these securely on my password-protected PC.

When you visit the Site, information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device are automatically collected. IP anonymisation is used for Google analytics purposes.  Please see “How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps”. Additionally, as you browse the Site, information about the individual web pages that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site are also collected. This automatically-collected information is referred to as Device Information and is collected using the following technologies:

The information I collect from you is used by me to communicate with you. It is used so that I can:

The Device Information that is collected is used to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise the Site, for example, by generating analytics to help measure traffic and usage trends for the Site. These tools collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including the web pages you visit, your browser add-ons, and other information that assists in improving the Site.

Your personal information will never be used by me for marketing or promotion purposes (e.g. to publish elsewhere a review or comment you have left on the site or in communication with me) unless you explicitly give me your permission in writing.

Your personal information is shared with third parties Wix.com and Google Analytics to help me use it as described above.

Your personal information may also be shared to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information I receive, or to otherwise protect my rights. However, I will never sell, lease or distribute your personal information.

Data storage & retention

  • I maintain your personal information for my records unless and until you ask me to delete this information. On receipt of your request, I will delete your information as soon as possible and within a month. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact me using the contact information below.

  • Minimal personal information allowing me to communicate with is stored in my password-protected email account (Gmail) and in the Wix website management system.
